If someone brings you to the wine you want, it’s inevitable to see other wines, therefore you’re still able to experience that randomness

When you get an add from something that’s assumed by google or what not, they give you more than one, their goal is to make you buy more shit, so going to show you more shit as well as what you could want, they always put that randomness

I've never bought something becauae an ad for it was spammed in my face while online. If you want a sure fire way for me to not buy your product is to spam an ad for it in my face. I instantly hate your business when a pop up ad gets spammed in my face.

Im with Degrasse on this one. Tech is becoming far too intrusive in our lives. I can't stand that every single site wants to store cookies on my devices. It is an invasion of privacy.

I cant believe people expect these free apps and services to not sell your info.
Google search doesn't have to be free!
Your smart speakers are 30 bucks for a reason!
Choose between paying with your money or paying with your data.
                    Which would you rather give?

I have worked for Google, Facebook, and now am Marketing Manager for clothing. Believe me, if Google does a certain type of targetting, it's because it works. There are many A/B testing going on, and they just serve you the one that best works for them.

Simply put, it takes away a man's right and sense of discovery. And dehumizes us by reducing or completely removing human factor. While this may have advantages in reducing road accidents and human mistakes in manufacturing, it marginalizes all of us as a simple data point.

Life in America revolves around consumer culture so you shouldn't really be surprised when corporations are using every dirty trick in the book to try and sell us shit. They will invade anything and everything to try and squeeze every dime out of you.

They are listening at ALL TIMES. So is your phone, especially if you have Facebook installed and not denied all permissions. There are plenty of other apps that do this as well. Just look back through I.T. News circles and articles and you'll find plenty of evidence. The mainstream just doesn't pay attention to it.
