    When you comment with your list, please exclude “We Will Rock You” because it uses stomps and claps not drums. It also need to START with drums. There are many songs that people are listing that actually start with other instruments or the whole band like “Come Together” Have at it!

                                                                        Rick, are these really your favourite drum intros, or are they just the most commercially successful that you like? Surely, "Scavenger of Human Sorrow" (Death), "Coming Home" (King Diamond), "Leap Frog" (Charlie Parker), "Caravan" (Art Blakey), "Painkiller" (Judas Priest), "Whiskey A-go-go" (Capiozzo and Meco(sp?)), or "Midlife Crisis" (Faith No More) might count?

                                                                        You're so deeply immersed in all things music, there *must* be more interesting things than the same old almost clichéd drum intros you know than that. Show us some more obscure stuff, please.
