Im convinced the average twins "supporter" isnt too bright OR doesn't watch games past the 2-3rd innings. Goldfish attention spans!

The beastly batting this year tends to make the first three innings of Twins games last a lot longer than we're used to...

Modern pitchers are wimps, they're too pampered. The Twins don't have one single complete game this year. Contrast that with the 1991 Twins, who had 22 complete games, led by ace Jack Morris with 10, 11 if you include his 10 inning gem in Game 7 of the World Series. They just don't make 'em like that anymore, pitchers nowadays go on the injured list for a hangnail. It's ridiculous.

Ya but other than Pineda, who has glass bones, who has been hurt on the Twins pitching staff? I don't think Gibson, Berrios, Odorizzi, or Perez have been hurt. The best players are the ones that play and are not hurt. I would rather not have any complete games than trying to stretch a starter with risk of injury just so they can have a complete game.

Twins have to average 10 runs a game to win. They won't do Jack in the playoffs with that garbage pitching staff. Just awful!

Apparently it was all just a misunderstanding. Gonzalez and Kelley were saying some words to themselves and they both thought that they were saying the words to each other. I think that Kelley was trying to start something cuz Kelley was the pitcher to beam Kepler when Cave hit the single on a 3-0 pitch in the 9th inning in the first game of the series. Also Gonzalez is 10 for 14 in the series so I don't think Gonzalez is that upset about how he is playing.

The twins infield defense as well suspect. I'd hate to see the twins lose a game in a close series to a goof at first. Or the good ol' ead off walk from trevor may... Its good to have post season thoughts!

Exactly. Everyone keeps bragging bout home runs but history shows twins will lose. They had a great start then struggled. They made bullpen moves but I can't blame bullpen when starters give up all these runs early on. Get it together guys.

@CasualGameFreak Kelley was also miffed about Jake Cave singling on a 3-0 pitch when the Twins were up big, and plunked the next batter Kepler. Wondering if there was a carryover from that game.

Apparently it was all a misunderstanding. Gonzalez was miffed about grounding out, while Kelley was miffed at previously allowing a run to score. They just happened to vent in each other's general direction, and the teams took it for an actual exchange and cleared the benches.

The offense is ridiculous, seriously it's like 7-12 runs a game but the pitching is so bad they nearly give up 7 or more runs a game😫 better pitching and they're in the world series

You can see where your team is going really easy. You have Martin Perez,Sam Dyson,Nelson Cruz. The all helped Texas to lose.Don't get your hopes up.Perez will let you down when it counts. He will get hurt by a bull on his ranch or something.Nelson Cruz will hit into a triple play with bases loaded, series tied 3-3 bottom of the 9th.Sam Dyson will not knocked anyone out of their seat.

Shaarubo Qalaf Kimbrel is a home-run allowing machine and Keuchel has a 4.39 ERA and other subpar numbers since joining Atlanta. If they’d be doing the same thing for the Twins, fans would be equally upset as they are with the current staff.

The issue with Polanco is his arm. Due to arm strength, Polanco has to charge every ball. But, baseball is strange and next year maybe Polanco wins a gold glove and somehow becomes a great fielder.

Their bats have earned them their positions no doubt. Hopefully we can fortify the defense on that side of the field in the future. Best case scenario is Royce Lewis comes up through the system in the next year, and we can move Polanco to second. But what to do with Arraez? That kid is an everyday starter too. The Twins have some good 'problems' right now
