Football. Way more fun to watch back then. Also. Get rid of punting on 4th down. And no more clock run-outs with taking knee. Play every down.

Intentional backwards fumble is just a backwards lateral though. It's stupid that they count it down when someone else picks it up after that.

I'm still not convinced that the fumble was deliberate, at least it wasn't planned. It may have been deliberate at the very last moment when he realized he had to do something and it looked like a pitch to the lineman or something, but I really don't think this was some designed play. It it were designed it was poorly executed even by 70s standards. It was just the luckiest stupid thing to happen at that moment.

2014 AFC divisional round, colts running back fumbled the ball at the Kansas City two but Luck picked it up and ran it in for a touchdown. Was this illegal?

Can you talk about take of the shirt rule in soccer after a goal. and why you get a yellow card if you do it.

The NFL has it so wrong. You SHOULD be able to fumble your way to victory. The common man watching can relate so well to that and it’s exciting. Why not get rid of onside kicks too then?

This shouldn’t be penalized, it should be encouraged. It makes the game more exciting.

This rule should only apply to forward fumbles.

The holy roller has absolutely nothing on that Mississippi State vs LA Tech where LA Tech fumbled from 3rd and goal with like 7 yards all the way back to their own 6yrd line to make 4th and goal with 94 yards to go.

You should make an episode about Martín Palermo, a soccer player. In 1999 he kicked a penalty with both legs - he slipped - and forced a new rule. He also scored a goal hanging from a goalpost, and had the world's farthest headgoal.

I like how they pretend that there wasn't a defender making forceful contact with the players every time except the very last one.

Yeah, Stabler knew what he was doing, but his arm was being pulled, and everyone after Stabler was a legit attempt at recovery.

The ball was ruled dead because it was within 2 minutes of the half, Rodgers fumbled it and he wasn't the offensive player who recovered it. That the ball ended up behind Rodgers had nothing to do with it.
