Leave a like if you understood everything that he said, and be honest. I'm gonna leave a like myself, because I actually understood everything. Btw, my mind is completely blown indeed from what I've just learned. 💯😌

Roman Catholicism is the hijacked train of the Romans. The train went in the tunnel as pure Christianity (teachings of Christ) and came out Roman Catholic (tainted).

one difference for the futurians is that there is the possibility of information being passed down to them, as we are now at a stage where our society gets captured by media sources, etc.
we did not have anything shared to us from a billion years ago, etc. when the universe was closer than it is today

Well first of all the thing that's called dark energy, is causing space itself to expand uniformly, so the ratio of the relative distance between everything will remain relatively unchanged.

If space is expanding itself, it doesn't mean new space is being created, which means light will still travel at the exact same speed relative to our perception, so basically light gains speed relative to the expansion of space itself, even if the space is being expanded.

It's not just the space itself that's expanding, every part of space is expanding, we ourselves are a part of that space. Aren't we? Yep.

So galaxies won't be getting any further away from us. They will still be the exact same distance as they are now.

Because this expansion is uniform in nature.

Also Space itself is so vast that the rate of this expansion is very slow, the next generation of cosmologists and astrophysicists will never see galaxies running away from them that's stupid.

Why would Neil say shit like this in public?

@TIRTHANKAR ROY I was shooting in the dark in a YouTube comment section precisely because I could clear my doubts after some fellow enthusiast comes to correct me on the subject, yep I would like further discussion thank you very much.

                                                        So is space expanding uniformly?

What's the rate of acceleration of the expansion? Give or take...

If the space is expanding, does that mean new space is being created? Or is the space just changing its shape and getting thinner? I hope you follow me.

I actually watched a kurzgesagt video very recently where they say the most cutting edge research dictates that Space itself is being created every second as space is expanding. And that space itself might contain dark energy, or be the source of dark energy. So what does your university teach you about that?

Still with me? Thanks a lot.... The final question, which university do you study in and what are the best books that you recommend for the ABC knowledge on cosmology and astrophysicz for a total novice like me.... Thanks in advance.

The fabric of Space and Time is expanding and its rapidly. You check the Red Shift Occurence and calculate the distance with DecaLo Theorem of Hibbs. I'm Astrophysics Student. You can clear your doubts.

You mean galaxies are expanding too? 😂😂😂 Bruhh. Intergalactic distances are expanding. Not any Matter in it. Else Earth, Jupiter all moons, all nebulae would have expanded too. Its just Stars that expand and then collapse to Black holes or dying stars. Hence Neil is 100% correct.Galaxies will expand beyond horizon. Only Earth won't even exist by then after Sun engulfs it.

Just as, if this "dark energy" expands so much and so fast that our future generations won't be able to see all the galaxies we can see now, they will at least know they were there from OUR written works??

                                                                                • Alec Astle

Now what is more amazing to notice is that it will only happen if we are almost this much advanced in technology in the coming generation that we are today and we our unable to convey them what we know today.

Now if humanity existed for very long technology and all will grow exponentially forward and maybe future humans will know much much more then we know now about Universe even if they dont had our records of past traced universe.

So,the only way i think is if there is some loop for life on Earth like if humans got extinct of course the record will be gone but the life reorginates as loop and there we go humans again or maybe who know what kind of organisms this time are studying Universe considering it as much as Our Milky Way Galaxy as everything else is now not observable due to expansion. this gives me chills.....

I appreciate it quite a bit as I like to learn new things. Second - now that you've written it out like that I feel a little chagrined. You're quite right about the time issue and I should have either known or surmised that. I imagine it's a human superiority trait to forget that there WAS a time when the earth, the galaxies and the universe existed without us! I'll tell you ...I was an excellent student in school and was one of the annoying kids that actually enjoyed it (not math! although I always end up working in accounting or banking!) but it may be that learning is more appreciated by adults. Thanks again.

You are but it's completely understandable. The problem here is the massive timescale that we're grappling with. Humans have only been on the earth for maybe 100,000 years or so and our written accounts if I'm being generous would be maybe 10,000 years old and they're spotty at best. You'd get more consistent records of written knowledge the closer you arrive to present day. Point being that our human written accounts reach back to only a tiny sliver of history in the universe's timescale of 13 billion years or so. Humans weren't around when the earth was filled with dinosaurs or before the dinosaurs when the planet was dominated by giant insects. There's also plenty of history that our little solar system has missed completely as our planet is only about 4.5 billion years old compared to the 13 of the universe. Anyways, hope that helps :)
