too bad you didnt put rock or at least gravel in the bottom of the hole to help drainage so the tank stays drier . burying a tank with water in the hole is stupid , especially with all the nicks and dings in the paint /coating on the tank ,just asking for an early failure.....warning tape 4" above the pipe is not adequate!!!

I had a big discussion about the life of the tank with the guy installing it, he said with it sacrificial anode that tank will last forever.

well if you believe that then I have a lot of stuff to sell you . its steel .its gonna rust and if you bury it in water , expect that , as a contractor its you duty to inform the homeowner of the high water table and the problems it will pose ,  if you were installing a sewer tank like that it would never work  my fateher was a dirt ciontractor and would never think of burying a tank in water

Having rock or anything in the bottom of the hole wont effect the water level. They say the tank will last forever.

No ballast pad for the tank? One good rain and out of the ground it comes.

@Andrew Camarata Good thing you asked him, now its on him if it floats up. I was a plumbing engineer for 41 years building hospitals, ground water gets high enough and tank contents low enough the critter will come out like a cork, just saying. Love your videos. Just how many pieces of equipment do you own? Never mine none of my business.

I had a Power-Fail 2 Times for perhaps 1 Hour each in the last 20 Years. In this time the Propanetank would be rotted away without any great usage.

For anyone thinking this is so well done, you cannot just burry a propane tank in a hole full of water. This is a poor example of an underground tank . Very first step is to involve a corrosion specialist. A hole full of water a steel tank, no sacrificial Anodes equals rusted holes leaking propane.

This tank is meant to be buried under ground. It has a Anode bag that gets inspected yearly.

Because I’m in the land of hurricane they rip you on tanks. Most companies only rent them, at 65-100 a month. They claim it’s for monthly maintenance. Then you have to refill only through them at an crazy per gallon price. Hurricanes are bad enough without getting ripped off for propane.
