Vet has to be a surgeon, anesthesiologist, radiologist, pathologist, parasitologist, etc. Let alone the varied A&P across varied species spoken here (but yes, the education is done in as little as 4 + Residency).
Human physicians deal with one at a time, and often even more focused than that ALONE (a surgeon may perform general surgery, or, ONLY on a specific body part or effect on the body part).
Vet school is more competitive, and they may have to make the choice to euthanize their patients by legal standards let alone ethical ones whereas human doctors are abstained from this practice that adds to the high rate of Veterinarian depression and suicides (a 2013 study put veterinarians above ALL OTHER MEDICAL POSITIONS in this act).
So when your doctor needs 7 referrals to OTHER doctors for specialist assessment and 5 repeats tests of the same kind for 1 medical complaint...
Remember, your vet is one person that does all of that per case, referring only if absolutely need be. So fuck off ^.^

Sandi's interpretation of the MBTI is a straw man. It doesn't divide people into boxes. It indicates tendencies and preferences. We're all introverted some of the time, and extroverted some of the time. But we all have a tendency to be more one than the other, even if only slightly. And so on through the other three dichotomies.

(The chief examiner also said that if people were tested on their personal best day 20% could be able to pass, but no one can choose when to have his/her best day and you have no chance of repeating the test.)

Whatever, I smoked for a few decades and always had the feeling that it does indeed compromise the sense of taste ...for how long and how much, who knows, I didn't really pay that scientific kind of attention.

But I'd guess that if you really smoke a lot, it can't but have a significant and permanent effect.

Btw, just stop smoking altogether, you won't regret it ; )

i always hated when my teachers would use that "the Bell doesnt dismiss you, I do" line...because in reality, the Bell will ring again to signal for the Next period to begin, and its not like your 5th period teacher will accept the excuse of "my 4th period teacher kept us after the bell"...so when im marked LATE to one class, i couldnt say 'yeah well Your Coworker didnt finish Her Lesson in time, so i have to miss part of Yours'...sorry, teach, but the Bell dictates when i should be IN my seat, therefore the Bell should dictate when i must LEAVE that seat, in order for me to be in my next seat before it rings again...

Vet education is the same as medical education here in the US. 4 years of college, 2 years of lectures, 2 years of practical to get the degree; a 1-year internship for board certification; residencies of 2 to 3 years to become board certified in any specialty.

That's roughly two years of full time work. That's about the same as most other apprenticeships. I think.

You may have lived in the USA Toksvig but you're not there now. You're in the UK. On the BRITISH BC. The place you go to urinate/defecate is a TOILET! We don't mind calling it a TOILET or hearing others call it a TOILET. Stop calling it a fucking BATHROOM!! (PS: Previous QI info on the matter: I'm pretty sure Fry explained that words like 'toilet', 'lavatory' etc. are already euphemisms - so no real need to avoid them even if you are horrified by the thought of perfectly normal human bodily functions.)
