Thank you old boy for enjoying our food and giving it such kind compliments. Rather enjoyed this video and I hope London treated you well. I would dare say that you are most welcome back. You must try traditional "Steak and Kidney" pudding and "Liver and Onions". 2 very good winter dishes that a lot of us enjoy in the colder months. And if you get the chance, hunt down some traditionally made "Mead". Toodle pip.

Should've tried your mushy peas drenched in malt vinegar.
Another variation on Shepherd's/Cottage Pie is Cumberland Pie: It has minced lamb, spiced with black pepper and garden mint, with vegetables (more and a little more varied than you had in your Shepherd's Pie: carrot, swede, cauliflower and chopped onion,) and is topped first with mashed potato (sometimes flavoured with cheese) and finished off with a 'crust' of crumbly cheese, parsley and breadcrumbs, cooked until the top is crispy.

Our eggs are bacteria free (due to treatment of our hens.) American eggs are subjected to a treatment process, (after being laid, obviously,) which makes the shells more porous, meaning they have to be refrigerated, where UK eggs don't have to be; so US eggs are refrigerated, UK eggs are FRESH, which could lead to the difference in the yolk colour. On the other hand, it could just be down to which breeds of chicken we have in the UK compared to the breeds common in the USA.
