I was expecting one of those protein based diets but lol 135 grams of protein! I thought mainstream knowledge recommends 1 gram per pound bodyweight! It can't be just on mass gaining because the majority of people are still consuming too much protein during a cut.

You can have carbs while cutting, your body needs carbs. Cutting out most fruit is not good for you unless you're taking supplements that give you the vitamins and nutrition your body needs that you get from fruit.

It's interesting that he mentioned cold potatoes as one of the carbs. What's not commonly known is that some of the starch in cooked potatoes will retrograde into RS3 starch (resistant starch - type 3) upon cooling, and more is converted with prolonged time as well as colder temperature. I don't know if the potatoes had to be cold when he ate them but the RS3 does not degrade significantly upon heating.

RS3 is a prebiotic for many beneficial gut bacteria, and increases the production of short-chain fatty acids through bacterial fermentation in the intestines, which are metabolized elsewhere to positive effect. Increasing the intake of RS3 is claimed to have many benefits, including the facilitation of weight loss, improving insulin sensitivity, and overall colon health, and is not known to cause harm (although supplementation with RS2 alone should be avoided - reader is encouraged to do their own research here).

I don't think temperature affects nutrients bioavailability too much, I mean it all gets to body temp eventually.

I think the idea is "resistant" starch like in green bananas and cold pasta or potatoes is "resistant" to digestion and more functioning like fiber. In my experience, this does not matter nearly as much as counting calories and protein.

That physique is naturally atainable in a decent ammount of time. 💯 Id only call ‘gear’ if he got to that size from his original slim physique in an unnatural ammount of time. Eg. Say 2months, or 3months...
also backed up by the well know fact that hollywood stars use gear to get jacked for roles, simply cos they dont always have the time to do it naturally because of filming deadlines.

If he went from being as slim as he was to his new body in, i dunno, say a year or more. Then deffo natural.
