          How to eat like Tarzan
          1. Hate everything you eat.
          2. Make everything plain.
          3. Eat a lot of it.
          4. Be as restrictive as possible.
          5. Let yourself get out of shape when you stop eating like this.
          6. Repeat.

To the stupid people in the comments assuming he was on steroids : Although alot of hollywood celebs use steroids to get in shape for movies but this one was totally natural. Just because someone has bigger muscles than you does not mean he is using steroids. Get ur ass to the gym instead of using excuses to justify your lazy ass

2:04 Protein: 540 calories. Fat: 630 calories. Carbs: 800 calories. Total: 1,970 calories daily. For an active 200 lb man, this is nothing. He must have been miserable.

active? he did 30 mins of cardio and a little lifting, nothing truly active his maintenance is probably 2400-2600, so 500 deficit is pretty normal

It's interesting that he mentioned cold potatoes as one of the carbs. What's not commonly known is that some of the starch in cooked potatoes will retrograde into RS3 starch (resistant starch - type 3) upon cooling, and more is converted with prolonged time as well as colder temperature. I don't know if the potatoes had to be cold when he ate them but the RS3 does not degrade significantly upon heating.

RS3 is a prebiotic for many beneficial gut bacteria, and increases the production of short-chain fatty acids through bacterial fermentation in the intestines, which are metabolized elsewhere to positive effect. Increasing the intake of RS3 is claimed to have many benefits, including the facilitation of weight loss, improving insulin sensitivity, and overall colon health, and is not known to cause harm (although supplementation with RS2 alone should be avoided - reader is encouraged to do their own research here).

Are "cold potatoes" something special or is it just literally just cold white idaho/russett potatoes?

Idk wtf they meant. When I hear cold potatoes I thibk raw but maybe they meant like plain potatoes no oil or garnish etc no fries. I don't think temperature affects nutrients bioavailability too much, I mean it all gets to body temp eventually.

I think the idea is "resistant" starch like in green bananas and cold pasta or potatoes is "resistant" to digestion and more functioning like fiber. In my experience, this does not matter nearly as much as counting calories and protein.

Since he was 200lbs? or nearly 90kg you can see studies, and systematic research on 2.4-3.0 g/kg when you 're on severe cutting ( >500kcal/a day). i would say for guy like him a 180g as minimum ( and u still down the recommendations 85x2,2= 187g , while rec are 2.4-3.0g/KG IF YOU'RE ON SEVERE CUTTING).

for those you might read this, if you're bulking, which mean you're eat more calories than u spent( called surplus) then 1.6g-2.0g/kg is more than enough.
if you are a normal person/gym casual nutrienting time is not that important.

I like to think that there are still some fit actors who don't have to do such things to get ready for their roles but you never know and that would explain how so many actors get their body fat percentage so low.

They speed up recovery times so actors commonly use them when they are trying to get into a certain shape for a role but have very limited time. Or when they are older or just lazier and don't want to work out for 6 months or more to get their superhero body or whatever. You'd be surprised as to which famous actors in huge roles have used steroids to speed up their training, for better or for worse.
